There are a variety of race options. The longer 75 kilometre challenge is by invitation only. The 60 kilometre route shares part of the popular 30 kilometre outing and is a moderate ride. The short 15 kilometre fun ride is perfect for novices and follows a shortened version of the 30 kilometre route.
The 50 kilometre route is an extension of the popular 30 kilometre. Although long it is fairly easy going.
The 75 kilometre route follows the 60 kilometre ride for much of the way. With about 42 kilometres in your legs you say farewell and ride north to the Klapmutskop section of the Simonsberg Conservancy. Here you will find some tough climbing and technical single track sections.
The 42 kilometre route is a tough challenge and not for beginners. The route mirrors the longer ride to the Delheim Estate where a 'shortcut' takes you back to the R301. Here you rejoin the long route riders and ride into town together.
The 30 kilometre ride follows a relatively flat route towards Spier Estate and is perfect for those who feel that the 15 kilometre ride will be too short but do not feel like tackling the strenuous hills. First introduced in 2008, this option is going to be the most popular route this year and numbers will have to be restricted.
