THE RUN


This is a three day stage race over 180 kilometres, following a clover leaf route format, starting and finishing in McGregor. The shorter alternative race is 120 kilometres averaging 40 kilometres each day.




Distance: 57 kilometres. Total ascent: 1,440 metres.


Distance: 65 kilometres. Total ascent: 1,100 metres.


Distance: 58 kilometres. Total ascent: 1,300 metres.

The core 3-day ride options is still be available with route improvements and changes for 2020:
•    McClassic - 3 Day Long Route for those a little bit more serious and fitter
•    McClassic - 3 Day Short Route for those that just love the ride
For 2020! there are two 2 Day McRide  options with long and short routes as well as the McOneDayOnly
and Fun Run and Trail Run
The Majority of the trails are only accessible to ride once a year and exclusive to the Ride2Nowhere.
Why the Ride2Nowhere? McGregor is known for the ‘Road to Nowhere’, an infamous road leading out of the town towards the mountains literally to nowhere but a dead end. The entry fee does not include accommodation but does include meals.
