THE RUN


This mildly challenging race takes place next to the runways inside the grounds of OR Tambo International Airport. There is a unique dimension to the event as you are exposed to the power of aircraft engines on take-off. The signature single track sections are kept to the end and are presented on the way to the finish at Emperors.

This race will be staged for the 12th time in 2019. The East Rand Kid’s Classic starts at 12h00 and is open to riders between two to four years old and five to eight years old. This event is by invitation only and is extended to South Africa’s top professionals.
